Great concept but seat seems uncomfortable

I bought it from the local BabiesRUs store since the 3-in-1 design looked really useful (just the colors are different). However, after setting the chair up I noticed that the seat was not very comfortable. The seating space itself seems to be smaller than other standard highchairs. The main problem seemed to be with the plastic projection between the legs, it's designed too close to the back of the seat (could have moved it 2 inches in front) and ends up being uncomfortable around the crotch area. Compared to "Fisher-Price Precious Planet Sky Blue High Chair", which we compared with side to side, this highchair had 2 inches less seating space due to that. I called Fisher-Price and gave them this feedback, hopefully they will find a solution to this if other people are complaining about the same thing. since it did not work for our nine month old child, I couldn't see how it would continue to be useful as he grew older. My suggestion would be to go to a local store and do a side-by-side comparison of this high chair with another, and decide.

Cleans up easy

I saw this in the big toy store when I was pregnant and thought it was such a great idea, I added it to my Amazon wish list for when my child was old enough to need a high chair. The buckle is easy to put your child in and easy to for you to get them out. The height is great, and our child sits right at the dinner table with us. It rolls around very smooth on the floor. The removable top tray makes cleaning easy. It says it fits in a dishwasher, but you'd have to have a very large dishwasher to fit it into, but it cleans up in the sink very quickly. The fabric cleans up even easier. If you know anything about feeding a 6 month old, you know more food go on everything else then in their mouth and carrots stain! Not on this, I have left food sitting on this for a day or two and then come back to clean it and it comes right off. No carrot stains.The funny part is, I bought this for the "Home & Away" feature, but I have yet to use it away. I've looked over the setup of the away feature, and it is very simple. It would only take a minute or so attach it to a regular chair at someones house or in a restaurant. The top part does remove very easily from base and snaps back in quickly. The straps for the away feature are stored under the chair in a box that is closes so no worrying about loose straps to your child to get caught in or pull on when crawling around.

I love this highchair, you can adjust the height of the chair so baby can slide right up to the table! It comes with 3 trays, pretty convenient. Its well made and functional.
