Flimsy, poor quality, for baby kit only.

When it did snap on, doesn't snap on easily if at all, and it was uneven and unstable. Not compatible with older baby kits (ones that are not verson 2 or 3.). If your child no longer requires the baby kit, you cannot use this tray.It's phthalate (BPA) free, but useless.

Great tray for child who isn't quite ready to pull up to the table

We've been using this tray for a few months and it has been a wonderful addition to our Tripp Trapp setup. Yes, this tray can be used only with the baby set. The entire point of having a Stokke Tripp Trapp is that you will pull your child up to the table with you when they no longer need the baby set. That said, if you have the baby set model stated in the description, the tray snaps in quickly and securely, and is perfect for babies who are eating solids, but need an edge to contain the mess and help them "corner" their food.The tray wipes down easily and can go in the dishwasher for a thorough cleaning.

Almost perfect

This is our third child, third Tripp Trapp chair and the first time we have experienced using it with the infant seat and tray. I do realize these items are expensive and normally that would deter me, but we have found our other two Tripp Trapp chairs to be so worthwhile, that I decided the accessories would be worth trying as well. Fortunately, I found all three at a steep discount using a voucher site and on clearance.The tray matches our baby set perfectly and looks great with the Tripp Trapp. It snaps in easily and fits firmly. It's easy to remove, although the latch is perhaps not as obvious as on some trays. The plastic seems nice and is easy to clean. I have not tried it in the dishwasher because it looks like it would take up too much space, but it cleans up well with soap and water. I like the size of the tray, it isn't huge like some I have seen, but it is big enough. We can still push the seat quite close to the table (and often do) without the tray taking up too much room.My one complaint is that the bottom of the tray is covered in a small plastic grid-like pattern. I suppose that is meant to make the tray "thick" without adding to the weight. The problem is, all those tiny compartments are difficult to clean. Little bits of food get pushed up into those grooves and can't just be wiped away. This isn't a huge issue, but it is fairly annoying.Overall, I think this is a great addition to the high chair. Sometimes you just need a tray! Mealtime is family time in our house and that includes my nine-month old. But my antique kitchen table can't necessarily take his kind of abuse three times a day so the tray is perfect for us.
