Our Second Swing

The only thing I am not sure about on this swing is that it is only battery operated. There is not a plug in option. Otherwise I love it. Our first swing was purchased used and gave out a month in (she hated it the first month). We rushed out and picked this one up because she is a fussy baby and decided she did love a swing. The seat is great for an infant with the 3 position recline and the heartbeat sound is her favorite. There is a wide range of speeds on the swing so I think it will keep her happy as she gets older. It will hold up to 30lbs and is a nice height and fairly compact for a full size swing.

Don't bother with this graco

This swing is definitely not "up to par" compared to other, older Graco models. We bought this model right after my daughter was born and we noticed right away that it didn't swing very fast, even on the highest setting. After about a month of use, we also noticed that the motor would stop unexpectedly (even though it had new batteries). Another problem is that instead of having a battery casing that you can snap open, the casing on this model has to be unscrewed. What's worse is the casing is inconveniently located in the middle (the worst possible place) of one of the legs, which means performing acrobatics every time you have to change the battery . Another complaint I have is that the timer only stops the music, but not the motion of the swing. This is a problem if you are using the timer to save energy. We picked this swing because it was attractive, but it is not worth your money.

My parents bought this for when our son is at their house and I immediately did not like it. The battery compartment is in the worst place for many reasons. the chair rubs on it and slows the swing down. the whole thing seems and feels very flimsy and we had to lift up one of the back feet to get it to center enough to swing our son in it. It feels like it will fall apart anytime he is in it. I would never by this product and would not recommend it to anyone either. Seems cheap for how much it costs.
