Very good booster

This is a great booster:-The seat is padded and comfortable-It's very easy to clean and (so far) doesn't stain-The bottom doesn't scratch your chair-Straps to the chair and has an optional lap belt-The funky colors are kind of cool (I have the orange)Overall a really well designed seat: functional and stylish.

Comfortable but not perfect

We got this chair for my son's second birthday. It's very stylish looking and he thought it was very comfortable. However, I found the straps to attach it to the chair confusing (and the instructions were not helpful). He could also easily get out of the lap straps. The seat was easy to clean however food did end up between the base and the comfy seat - it was fairly easy to get out but I wished the two pieces were fused together in some way to avoid this food trap.

Reviews giving you doubt???

After reading the reviews across the board I was just plain confused as to whether or not I should buy this! I have one simple thing to say in response to all the reviews and to hopefully help future buyers out:If your child is READY for a booster chair, this is an excellent one. My used a high chair/whatever else up until 21 months when I bought this for her. I don't use the straps. If she tries to get down before she is done eating she simply learns she must listen to me or get in trouble. Sometimes she listens, sometimes she gets in trouble. This is a perfectly normal learning process in raising a child and I see no need for the straps(unless of course you have a younger baby and are worried about them falling out???). The point is she sits in it like any normal little person and there is really no need for "wear and tear" with normal use. She uses a Baby Bjorn bib which catches all the falling food and I simply use a wipe on the chair when she is done. This chair will last through her and most likely my next baby.As far as the negative reviews/aspects(children slouching too much, straps not keeping them in, child able to BITE into chair, and other such similar reviews)- Perhaps the child is simply too young to be out of a well built secure high chair.You know your child, you know if they are ready to upgrade to a booster chair. If they are ready, I would consider this one superior.
