don't buy

great idea, don't slide, wish they were a bit larger...so far so good, however they don't have a smooth surface and it makes it very difficult to clean after a messy toddler has eaten. We bought them and used them only a few times then gave up on them. I like the fact that they are silicone, and silicone has few/no toxins, but I would not recommend them because of how hard they are to clean.

These mats aren't sliding anywhere.

We use a high chair that does not have a tray, and place mats are a must since our baby shares the table with us. These mats are great because they can't be slid around by a curious/hungry baby. I also like that they can be rolled up so small and placed in a diaper bag for use in restaurants and friends' houses.

good option

These placemats are nice. I didnt want disposables, and these just roll up & go anywhere. I gave them a 4 star because I thought they would be more 'sticky'. My son does occastionally try to pick the mat up. It is very easily cleaned.
