The great search is finally over!!

I love this thing!! I had ordered a Peg Pergo and it arrived with mold growing on the straps- needless to say, it got here at 6pm and was back out on the porch for return at 7pm the same night. I didn't mind spending the money on a chair for my child if it were safe and easy to use. I've tried out others from the cheap to the Peg and while the Peg was great (mold not withstanding), all others were cheap and chintzy- I wouldn't put my cat in some of them for fear that he might fall out of the flimsy back!I've had other chairs (for older children) and frankly, the overall quality has dropped. Then I got this one on the advice of a dear friend. It's sturdy, easy to use (really, others that say that you can open them with one hand are lying, but this one you really can- I did with a hungry, squirmy baby in my arms!) and the padding is cloth- it's easy to clean (just pop in the washer on gentle- even carrots came out!) and even easier to put together!I wish I had just gotten this one first- it would have saved so much on gas and stress!

I love this high chair. I have 5 children and have used many different brands and this is by far my favorite! It is easy to clean and takes up less space than the average one. The leg spand is not as wide and the design makes it much sleeker. My daughter is very petite (15 pounds at 11 months) and my other high chair had to be sent back because it was too large for her. She has plenty of room to grow in this one but I also feel that she is much safer in this model.

Overall a great chair with a few minor flaws.

I have used this high chair for 14 months now and have been very happy with it. We have used it in the first two positions: reclined and upright. I cannot speak to its use as a booster seat.Pros:- I used this chair in the reclined position quite a bit before my son was sitting upright. Rather than putting him in a bouncer on the floor I would put him in his high chair while I was cooking or getting ready in the morning. This let him be up at eye level so he could see me and what was going on.- Very easy to put our little one in the high chair. I almost never take the tray off, rather I recline the seat back, slip my son in and then move the back to the upright position. I take him out of the high chair the same way. This is nice because the between the legs support is attached to the tray and keeps my son from sliding down while I am getting the harness connected.- Easy to clean. While the tray is dishwasher safe it is easier to hand wash it. I love the the cover is machine washable, I have gotten carrot and beet stains out of it with no issue at all. I am not very diligent about following the wash instructions and have accidentally ran in through the drier more than once. No issues there.- Having a two layer tray is great! We frequently use the bottom layer of the tray if the removable tray hasn't been cleaned yet :)Also, for finger painting or coloring I will take the removable tray off and use the bottom layer for those activities.- Can be easily slide around the kitchen or house. Some may view this as a con as it could move if your little one were to try to pull themselves up with it. For us this hasn't been an issue.- It has a five point harness. At this point I primarily use it as a 3 point harness but when my son starts trying to stand up in his high chair we will start using the shoulder straps.Cons:- I wish the tray could be snugged in closer. There is a large gap between the tray and my baby's stomach where crumbs get caught. His bib catches the mess but older high chairs I have used were able to be adjusted in closer. I found this preferable.- I wish the seat could be set upright just a few more degrees. Until these last few months I would stick a folded towel behind him so he was closer to the tray.- Not a space saver or easily stored between babies. While the legs fold up the seat itself does not and takes up a lot of storage space.
