So far so good, and I have tried many carseats!

I received the Graco Affix today, assembled, and put in my Buick Enclave middle bucket seat. I love all the features, the built-in cupholder, large headwings for safety and napping, and the LATCH system. I was afraid to purchase this seat because of the negative reviews stating that the LATCH system was not stable. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. I can see how the one side might not stay as tight as the other due to the pulls being directly on top of one another through the same hole, but I pulled on it and it did not come loose. At the most, it would pull out about 5-6 inches which doesn't matter anyway because the seat belt is what secures your child into the seat. The one thing that I would change is I would like the armrests to fold up for buckling. My almost 4-year-old will probably not be able to buckle himself because the base is fairly wide and pushes up against the buckle port, so I will have to do this for him. The base is 16 1/2 inches wide, the same as most of the other boosters I have been looking at, so this would be a problem with any of them. I also own 2 First Years Compass B570's...awesome for safety, but a NIGHTMARE for buckling; and an Evenflo LX Big Kid which is wonderful for my son to buckle independently, but sidewings leave much to be desired. All in all, I think this is my favorite carseat so far, but time will tell. This would be perfect for my 6-year-old that has a little more experience with buckling himself. Very good quality.

Love, love, love this car seat!

My son is 3 and very tall, this seat fits him well and with plenty of room to grow. Love the red and black and it was very easy to put together. My favorite part is the latches...they are so hard to find in a booster and I was not going to purchase a booster without them. My son loves the seat, says it is very comfortable and I am very pleased with my purchase. Would highly recommend this high back booster seat!

Latch not necessary

I have a normal Graco highback booster for my older child and bought this one with the latch system for my younger child - since this is new since my daughter got one. The latch only attaches to one hook. Therefore, it slides around much like my other that does not have the latch - only thing is that it will not come off entirely. It would have been better if there were attachments for both sides - then at least it wouldn't slide. I rate it a 3 star because of that and that it is very expensive for this added feature. However, both my kids like their highback boosters, and I feel very reassured that they will be safe in them with the side impact wings at the head. The cupholder on this one is deeper and better than on the normal booster. I would recommend the highback boosters from Graco, but save your money. The latch system on this is overkill and expensive.
